Micro-cheating, it’s small actions that someone does that shows that they are focused on someone other than their significant other. Many people today are committing micro-cheating without even knowing it due to all the social media advancements happening in the world we live in. But this does not make it okay, for example there is no need to keep up with your ex if you are already in a happy relationship with someone else. Focus on who you actually want to be with, you cannot get to the next chapter with your finger on the last page. So stop calling your ex to see what he/she is doing, stop checking their social media, and stop wondering because when you are stuck in the past it is hard to get to the future.

It is also unnecessary to have a back-up plan/person. A back-up symbolizes that you think your current relationship won’t work out so you have someone else to fall back on. It also shows that you are interested in other people, which is not loyal. Relationships take time and dedication, without it the relationship cannot grow and will not last. So be all in, take the leap of faith and trust that this is the person you are meant to be with, if not what’s the point in being in a relationship at all?
